Welcome…

My name is Valencia and I’m the founder of “Mocha Love”. I’m a divorced, single mother of two wonderful sons. Residing in Dallas, TX by way of New Orleans, LA as a result of Hurricane Katrina, I have gone through the storms, both physically and spiritually and God is still good.

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”

This is not my idea, but God’s guidance to use me by sharing my stories, testimonies and talents. I must be a Light in this darkness we call life. I want to share my stories as He allows, because it’s time for the truth to be told. I pray that my truths are not to far fetch that you miss the point. We all have to tell the stories so God can get the Glory and others can learn the truth, and most importantly BELIEVE that He can do it.

Although, I’m coming to you in the biblical sense, this is not a judgment call; I believe the Spirit has led me to step out and keep it real. I have to tell all, so others who are experiencing what I’ve been delivered can see how God brings us through it and takes us to different levels.

Mocha is just a flavor… this page is directed to any woman who is seeking knowledge, personal growth and /or is willing to share testimonies of growth despite personal struggles. It’s about victory. However, I pray that putting a page out here offers insight for my people to take a new perspective and better outcomes.

This is not a “Man Bashing” opportunity. Brothers, you’re welcome too. We have to build each other in effort to raise our communities. It takes strength from each of us and brothers need to read these entries to understand our(women) needs; we need their input so that we may understand theirs. Therefore, Mocha Love is directed to Sisters Raising Sisters who welcome all input and life experiences for this journey. Please feel free to share and leave comments.
